PRP and PRF rejuvenation is a non-surgical procedure performed in our surgical center under the supervision of Gregory A. Wiener, MD, FACS. PRP and PRF are derived from patient’s own blood and immediately injected into the treatment area.
Post PRP injections, the platelets contained within the serum release great amounts of growth hormone on activation (within the first hour post injections). In PRF preparation, the platelets are contained within a fibrin matrix which allows for growth factor release overtime, supporting cell growth and tissue regeneration inducing cellular growth over longer period. Results will not be immediately noticeable; healing and regeneration is a process your body undergoes within several weeks post treatment.
